By default, most ojects have static positioning where they are no positioned in a specific way.

With relative positioning, objects are positioned relative to its determined position. It this div's case, its top, left, down, and right properties are unchanged so it's position like a static object.

Now this div had been adjusted away from its normal position.

This div is in a fixed position so it stays in your window and follows you.
